NWR Visit September- Part 2 Next, I also saw a bunch of terns during my visit. First, we have a lifer for me. Specifically, I was able to see my first Royal Tern. This Royal Tern was also banded.

Next, we also have some pictures of an Osprey and some Northern Harriers. The Northern Harriers were flying around, and the Peregrine Falcon was fighting with the Harriers. I was not able to get any good pictures of it though.

Hey @skwinnicki.bsky.social May I please ask a birding question? Over the weekend, I was able to see a Royal Tern over the weekend. It was a lifer for me, and reviewing the photos, it has a band. I have identified the last two letters, but what do you think of the first letter (D, O, 0, or U)?

A couple of weeks ago, I was able to viait my local bog. At the bog, I was able to find a Red-Shouldered Hawk's nest with at least young one. Here is a picture. On the way back, I also saw some Bald Eagles on a radio tower near my home.
