This past month I’ve directed extensively at Salt Recording in Newcastle, working with both the magnificent tech guys & amazing actors. Across 8 days I trained 6 writers to direct their own audio drama productions & spent 2 days directing the SATD musical. So grateful I get to do this for a living.

SHADOWS AT THE DOOR began with a haunted lantern and it’s been guiding us ever since… I’m absolutely thrilled to present the new logo for the show created by the brilliant @briancoldrick.bsky.social (who also created our original logo)!

It’s Banned Books Week. In 2022 I was shocked when I learned Art Spiegelmen’s MAUS had been banned by a school in Tennessee. It’s an incredibly powerful Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel that follows Art’s Jewish parents in 1940s Poland & their internment in Auschwitz. I implore all to read it.
