And if you think that's something people wouldn't do, they already have with a certain series of forks of a certain combo plugin. When a ban requires manual review and then creates a new file that every single plugin user has to redownload, the cat and mouse game isn't worth it.

A plugin ban involves 2 primary components: - the name of the plugin - a version number Both of these are so trivial to bypass because the ban system was never intended for moderation. One could automate bumping the version or appending a number to the name without any human interaction.

If it was a google form where they only selected a handful, I'd make the assumption it's not happening. But you're also probably safe asking the artist for a confirmation if it's been a while withiut any kind of communication on slots. (I wish rejection messages were more common)
