Mine was The Secret of Nimh but Time Bandits was freaky as hell when I saw it too young.

You should get an extra at bat if you hit a solo homer

So that's why I can't stop thinking about you!

Very telling that "It specifically tackles disposable e-cigarettes that contain tobacco. It won’t include vaping devices containing cannabis." Meaning it is not about fires in landfills at all.

Maybe this will get me to finally finish a run!

60 hours of @valheimgame.bsky.social playtime in the last 2 weeks. Now @duneawakening.com has a new chapter and single-player mode. My free time is gone. Sorry, responsibilities!

Got a COVID vax. See you all on the other side of my impending fever! (Usually lasts a couple days)

AMC A-List keeps me going to the theater. For this one I even went alone, marking my 3rd ever solo movie experience. And it was fantastic.

Tech jobs helped me become completely debt-free. AI moving into the space has returned me to my previous state. Learn a trade. Tech is a dead end with empty promises and fake growth.

25 years ago I was also up past my bedtime, which caused me to sleep through both planes hitting the WTC.

The Seed is my favorite song of hers!

Mostly @mostly.fun · 30/08/2026

It was! Your outfit was much more spectacular and AURORA-Y than mine, but boy-howdy when she played Starvation. I about died.

Mostly @mostly.fun · 30/08/2026

Okay. Another non-tech industry application is out. Crossing my fingers real hard for this one and if I get it, my wife will finally have me out of the house for a full shift each day. So if you're crossing your fingers for anyone, let it be her. :D

Mostly @mostly.fun · 30/08/2026

I got to see her when she played the Troubadour in Los Angeles in 2016 before she graduated to larger venues. It was so cool to see her so little! But seeing her at The Greek Theater in 2022 and The Shrine in 2024 were life-changing concerts. I love her so much.

Bonus: Milla Jovovich (She shook my hand and complimented my shirt. 😊 )

Haven't processed the loss of Tim Curry yet. I think it might hit me harder than Dolly for many reasons.

I grew up watching Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, well before it was appropriate. Rewatching tonight is reminding me of how many firsts I experienced through this movie. RIP Miss Mona.

Before Dolly Parton had her own homepage - before Sony had anything but a one-line file in a single directory listing the name of an upcoming album - Dolly Parton's radio station WDLY was online in '1996.

I have loved Dolly my whole life. She was the best of us all.

Yay! I haven't watched it again at home, but it will be in my WWII "watch in the background" playlist.

The Internet was a mistake. The evidence is in any comments section about Jackie the Eagle passing away.

If this isn't the endorsement I needed to get back into this show, I don't know what is.

Feels like "data centers" is a misnomer now. I think "slop factories" is more accurate.

The lesson here is that one hateful tweet does not need to be amplified to the point that it becomes the narrative for any group of people. Legacy media: get off the internet and do some journalism for a fucking change.
