I get that it's intuitively frustrating to be forced to rank two things that feel the same, but at the large-numbers level those apparently arbitrary choices can be extremely revealing. I can tell you already from early results that the overall ranked preferences are very clear. and that helps us!

You might feel personally that there's very little distance between your first and last choice, but if 80% of respondents agree on those first and last choices, regardless of the degree of preference, it helps creators focus their attention on a measurable preference.

You Have to trust your audience to be responsible for their own finances.
