Hmm, I just looked it up, and they're different, you're totally right. Mimeograph was also hand cranked, and the one I cranked had a red handle, but handles can be any color, and I was quite little and never actually set it up, so I honestly do not know which machine I cranked for Mrs. C.

I was a kid who's dad read her Poe as bedtime bonding, and I was proud of not being freaked out by scary books, TV, and movies, but around age 11, Audrey Rose, the book in my parents' "the grownup bookshelf, no censoring, but explore at your own risk, kid" got under my skin and into my dreams badly.

Sunday is a good day for a visit with a dear friend and a game! Vale of Eternity is a fun, not too long playing, chimera creatures game. It's a card drafting and engine building game with interesting wealth constraints.

I dated a boy named John for a while, and his Dad was also named John. Creative. I called his house phone once and asked his sister for "John," and she said "Big John or Little John?" I laughed and said "Little John. Tell him it's Robin Hood!" His family called me Robin after that.
