open.substack.com/pub/deildega... Here is my substack👻 I’ll share my first legend tonight along with my «expert» opinion at the end. Tonight: A rich landlady in rural Norway tricks a poor neighbor woman into moving a boundary stone. Brynhild is forever doomed to carry the stone in death🪨

I have redone my most important analysis table. No salt in my tea today. In a bit I am free to continue my Alysmond cursed winter fic❄️🐻‍❄️

Susie💍 @moriondor.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I put three teaspoons of salt instead of sugar in my tea this morning, so the fact that this ^ actually happened is a miracle.

I have reached the annual point in my thesis writing where I stress out. I am now crocheting a new six foot scarf. Sort of inspired by Dunk’s shield in AKTOSK. I will make tassels. Like…. Thirty of them.

I liked s2 more cos I liked the buildup (and Lohar). S3e1 was good too (- the Aemond/Alicent shit they pushed) There has also been so much SA this season. And only done to the greens. The Ormund thing was definitely unnecessary, and I hate seeing it all over being praised as funny and deserved….

Today, August 4, 2026, is the setting of Ray Bradbury’s short story “There Will Come Soft Rains” about a fully automated house continuing on after the family who lived there and the world around it died in a nuclear blast.

I got back into my thesis today -> cried for two hours. I went out instead. Now I have new cushions for kitchen chairs and possibly a new orange couch. What if I just drop out and become a toad. I’d like to be a toad. Or a frog. Or one of those flies in Cars. Cos they’re VW bugs. They’re blue.

Don’t want people coming in? Like…. Are they to you some sort of blood-purity-whiteness-must-prevail people?? You mean like those other ‘non-white people should not exist and we must not let them into our society’- people? Huh?

150

Susie💍 @moriondor.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Ah, yes Andy. Because the Shire just sprouted out of the ground with the white people already there. It’s not like they’ve ever migrated and settled there. It *feels white* TO YOU. Because you’re a white, middle aged, racist man. And one who CLEARLY does not know the source material.

Susie💍 @moriondor.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

He most definitely did not. I also read that he said that Tolkien based his peoples on Scandinavians? (I may be wrong, didn’t read much cos it made me sick.) and that they are therefore white. Did he not read a thing??? People of color exist in Tolkien’s works😭
