“Ox-brained lummox,” Elayne said, shaking her head. “The bloody man’s got Egwene all riled up.” Just like the books! 😀 @dinzmeria.bsky.social

Finished Black Mirror S7 and I think I again really liked the first episode of the season (Common People) the best.

I thought there might be a prestige tv slowdown after Andor but then I was reminded that Murderbot is coming out.

I hear y’all been acting up on here. Get it together folks. Chill the hell out. Go read a book.

I have seen a thousand thousand photos and in only like 10 of them when the light is just right do I not actually loathe myself. I’m pretty sure it’s why I joined The Shadow. 😶‍🌫️ 💼

I think there is a law that states for every season an adaptation airs the fandom goes through a half life deterioration

Faile Bashere is: Mandarb, vampire slayer (it means blade btw) #WotSkies #WotShowSpoilers

A wheel of time parody version of a movie poster for Blade, starring Wesley Snipes. The edited version of it has replaced the large eyes of some person in the background with the golden hued eyes of Perrin Aybara. Overlayed on top of the large face is Faile Bashere standing where Blade would’ve been in the original poster. She’s in black leather and holding a knocked bow. The title reads MANDARB with a parentheses below that says “it means blade” using the original “blade” word from the unedited poster.

Enjoyed the Black Mirror episode Eulogy. It was interesting. Playthings was a bit messed up. Looking forward to seeing the USS Callister sequel. I love Cristin Millioti

It feels extremely appropriate that the season 3 finale of #WoTInSpace is called Crossroads (of Twilight)

How I interact with people IRL. (And why Steris is my favorite)

Discussing what you liked and disliked about the show is a much better experience IRL.

Muted the words for burning fire

Hard same. It’s like we left a burning building for a reason. And then folks come back and are like guys, that building is so hot! And it’s hard to breathe and just horrible. Yup, that’s why we chose not to go in there.

There was a bunch of discussion over the weekend as to will people still attend cons if the show gets canceled and I do hope so. Especially since talking about the show is the least interesting part. ( Unless you are arguing about the Finn. Zoobile Zoo!! )

the people you are talking to and interacting with in our little fandom spaces here are real actual human beings. consider how the filter of social media is affecting your mindset, and perhaps also consider logging out if you are allowing it to have an intensely negative effect on you and others

Now that I’m home … when is WoTCon @hathor46.bsky.social ??? 😀

1140

If I had a nickel for every time Moghedien stole the show in a WoT finale I’d only have 10 cents but it’s still pretty impressive. ( Thanks @innkeeperanas.bsky.social for the best Moggy gif )

The irony of saying this from JordanCon is not lost on me, but the WoT fandom needs to touch some grass.

The demand for Switch 2 pre orders was so high it also took down Blue Sky

In a shock to no one, I didn’t preorder (or even try) a Switch 2.

Watching Black Mirror Hotel Reverie. Me - Who is this actress?? … Deadpool & Wolverine …. 🤯 Now I see it! 😂

I want to preorder a Switch 2 but I don’t want to deal with the nonsense of ordering hardware on pre order day

020

Random new iWoT project announced? Did we also get renewed? Cause they love to announce news when they can steal thunder.

1110

I’m still watching Black Mirror, Andor will have to wait till post JCon. ( I’ll have like 6 episodes to watch by then 🥴 🤪 )
