Text reads: Section 21 'no-fault' evictions will end. Renters will no longer face the threat of eviction with only two months' notice and without reason. Landlords will still be able to evict tenants but only under specific reasons including: The landlord is selling or moving back in to the property (only after the first 12 months of a tenancy). Tenant payments fall behind and they owe three months' rent of more. Anti-social behaviour. Damage to the property.

Today the UK Government released up to date stats on the number of people living below the #poverty line, including how many older people are in this situation. Worryingly the new data shows that the number of pensioners in poverty has increased by 200,000 compared to the year before #costofliving
