New Jayvik audio! @auxyvox.bsky.social was kind enough to accept my commission of a scene from Haunt of the Hexhound, created by @sigridhawke.bsky.social. Please enjoy this emotional moment, it was an honor to contribute to the series! #Jayvik #Vikjayce #Hexhound

How about a snippet for wip wednesday? Revolving pov seems to be the theme of this story... first Viktor, then Silco, now a Vander chapter?!? (This is all @goldenbunbuncos.bsky.social's fault! 😆) #jayvik #vander #silco

Sorry for the ancient reply, but I just had too; I'm replaying BG3 myself right now! 😅For real, *always* something new to find! 😯 Also, I'm definitely not on @ru-b-ia.bsky.social's level, but I didn't do TOO bad I think... 😏

This feels *just* like the early Hexhound days; I had an idea! This comic was too good to pass up, so @e11era.bsky.social and @sigridhawke.bsky.social , a little gift for you. (I took a *tiny* bit of liberty with some of the dialogue.) Also has fun playing with the font for effect again.

Jayce gazed across the battlefield, Mercury Hammer clutched in his hands. In the distance, the blue of Viktor's cape fluttered and waved in the wind, a war banner visible to all. How had things progressed this far? He never could have imagined it.

Gazing down into the valley, his jaw clenched at the sight of Viktor's forces. Row upon row of gleaming white, arrayed in perfect formation. No variance, no deviation, just identical figures holding steady, waiting for the word of their Herald.

Suddenly, Viktor stepped forward, lifting his arm to signal the assault. Distantly the sound of laughter reached Jayce's ears, as Viktor raised his…

"Okay, seriously Viktor? You're coming at me with a Big Ass Sword? Where did that even come from?"

"What's wrong Talis? Your Hammer not up to the task?"

It seemed they had been fighting for hours. Try as he might, Jayce couldn't find an opening to swing the battle in their favor.

"Talis!"

A loud cry of his name drew his attention. Turning his head, he spied his younger counterpart gesturing wildly. "Viktor is rebuilding his army! You'll never manage to reach him at this rate."

In his heart, he knew young Jayce was correct. Winning this fight would take drastic action. A flash of blue and mischievous eyes drew Talis's attention: Jayce's ever present shadow, fierce in her desire to protect. The sight hardened his resolve. "Then it's time to bring in the big guns. Jinx?"

Before he can even blink she is airborne, graceful as a shooting star. Her glee is palpable as she unleashes destruction upon the battlefield. "NYAAHAHAHA!" Viktor's forces are engulfed in blue fire.

"Shit, my army!" Viktor's exclamation is dangerously close to a whine.

"Sorry, Vik." Jayce grins. "You know how it goes, you win some, you lose some." Carefully Jayce begins to scoop up his cards, pretending not to notice Viktor's annoyed glare.

"Why in the world would Jinx be fighting beside you?" Viktor practically yells. "That makes no sense!"

Jayce laughed at the petulant question. "Hmm… who knows? Maybe we found each other at a dark time. Perhaps she's my found family! My new younger sister…"

"IN WHAT UNIVERSE WOULD THAT HAPPEN?!?"

Oh my God, yes! I love to see it. Honestly to me, Jayvik as a ship feels so similar to Spirk, it's uncanny.

Oh man... even better. I marked up the screenshots I was sent so I could copy them here; I don't have the original poster's name or anything.

A screenshot of Jayce and Viktor from the Arcane musical:
"Incredible improve made by Vikor yesterday: when lying in Jayce's arms dying, his line should be 'Promise me to destroy the Hextech'. But instead he added one sentence...

"He looked at the ceiling weakly and whispered: So warm... I started crying and so did Jayce. We both realized this was the last time Viktor would FEEL warmth, and it came from Jayce's hug."

Haha, now I have to get some shelves put up for the standees, and get my binder organized - I found a nice 3 ring binder for all my art cards, stickers, and a few comics.
