I have officially signed a contract with a traditional publisher as of today. There is going to be a moment of me getting a few affairs sorted, but as of this moment, I am now being represented by a traditional publisher! More good news, I can still do third party stuff!

I'm always up for it, even if I havn't posted much in a long while. Boundaries, NSFW is fine, my Celosian OC's are in open relationships (though they will always prioritize their love interests.) Basically, just don't be overly cruel or mean spirited. As well as don't over exagerrate bodily details.

So, I'm officially 'kicked off' of twitter because they want my biometrics. I can't even see the website without them demanding it, which is low-key hilarious. Really need to try and remember to come here more often. I do always say I'm bad with social media. ...wanna find my artist friends again.

"if I just work hard enough, eventually I'll make it" No. cause if you don't make it that means you didn't work hard enough. And that isn't fair to your efforts. there are so many factors outside of your hands. So much success is luck, and failure is not always your fault. cut yourself some slack.

Good to see this being discussed! Many indies ARE now on Itch, Kobo, etc, but many others are locked into KU. The 90 day exclusivity lock is something to bear in mind. It can’t always be FAST. It’s a hard road to navigate & indies are doing their best to stay afloat while following the readers.

Like a lot of people, I’ve not been buying much from Amazon lately. But I was just talking to an author in the sapphic books subreddit and they were saying their ebook royalties are down 40 percent since the boycott started. Forty percent!

This got me reconsidering the boycott strategy. I still plan to get most of my books from Kobo and the library system — but I might go back to KU, since KU’s monthly payment isn’t going to impact Amazon much, but it the lack of it might sink some small, indie, and queer authors.

So readers, if you want authors on Itch and Kobo and Barnes and Noble, etc, make sure you buy off there! Too many authors have told me that they’ve since made their books widely available but the drop off in sales from the boycott hasn’t meant sales are rising elsewhere - sales have just STOPPED.

So had to go to a hospital recently. I have injured my spine, my legs lock up when I'm off meds and my feet are numb. Doc says it may naturally heal, but it will take a long time. I'm at home now. I have a love of art and costumes. SFW, NSFW, don't matter, help me pass time?

A trope I love and a trope I hate ❤️ heroes banding together and being able to take on anything so long as theyre together. Beautiful. ❌️ The couple gets together, but in the sequel theyre broken up so we can replay the entire thing again and they get together again. Drives me up a damn wall.

I'm not a political account or person, but... I want to do this. I want to give artists and creatives a prompt, to add their OC to a rally to support LGBTQ. I want to visibly show, how many people support them, and I don't care if my cast end up being the only ones. 🧵

Sometimes you do everything right and still get screwed. It's not really going to matter if it's your fault or not; it's going to matter if someone has your back and is willing to pick up your pieces with you. Figure out who's been there for you, and stick with them, and give back the same.
