Why is this game lying to me? That's clearly a red Behemoth, not a Catoblepas. You aren't fooling me. Those mfers have plagued me enough in deep dungeons and the Crucible.

Image of Vincent, Lucia, and Aerith facing down a "Catoblepas" in Ever Crisis.

I need to get an AO3 invite so I can write gay cringey fanfics.

Looky what I got in the mail! Homunculus Tears and Deadbeats! #booksky

Deadbeats, written by Chris Lackey and Chad Fifer. Illustrated by I. N. J. Culbard

Description:
On the run from the mob, a trio of 1920’s Chicago Jazz musicians take a job from an elderly reverend, playing for what they think is his wife’s funeral in the backwoods of Illinois. Unfortunately, the funeral is actually an elaborate cult ritual to raise the spirit of an evil sorcerer who swiftly begins raising the dead and terrorizing the innocent townsfolk. With monsters, moonshiners and mobsters on their trail, the friends must draw upon their various talents to stop this evil, save the townspeople and escape with their lives.

Homunculus Tears: Alchemy for the Brokenhearted by Inori., illustrated by Aonoshimo

Description:
Amid a prolonged conflict between humans and demons, humanity stands on the brink.
The protagonist, Maha, is a powerful human alchemist fighting on the frontlines. One day, however, Maha’s mother, Diriyah—who is also an engineer—announces that she has achieved a breakthrough by successfully creating a “Homunculus” through the use of alchemy.
According to Diriyah, with the Homunculus to stand in and fight, humanity can triumph over the demons without further sacrifice of human lives.
Paying little heed to the rejoicing troops, Maha—who has only ever found purpose on the battlefield—is shaken by the prospect of losing the only meaning in life she has ever known.

“If I’m not even expected to fight… What exactly am I supposed to do?”

This is a story about overcoming the despair of having never wanted to be born.

Also visible, some glowing stars.

Every time I fail one of these fights in Ever Crisis I die a little more inside. I don't think I'm gonna be getting all the achievements before the end. I kinda want to cry

The other day I put my bag of pumpkin seeds in the fridge instead of the cabinet. Found it a couple hours later and was very confused.

I've been meaning to read more of it so I've kept it open for a while lol

I NEED to write. The stories are screaming in my head to get out. I literally have four separate docs open on my PC at home at all times. I need to finish one of them and my brain needs to stop producing new ones so quickly.

I can't even get friends and family to play FFXIV. Getting them to play FFXI is impossible lol

Aegis = Aye jis I know this isn't the correct way to pronounce this word, but it's how I always read it. Lorewise, it isn't her given name. She read it in a book once and used it as her own when she left the Steppe. So she just read it wrong. Her real name is Cota = Coh Tah

Mayday🀄🦇 Sphene's Vampire Wife @mooncub.us · 30/09/2026

Her patron deity is of course Thaliak.

Amongst these books, she found an old arcanist tome and meticulously studied arcanima. She eventually left her tribe to see the world and learn as much as she could. This lead to sailing to Limsa, where she became a proper Arcanist, and later a Scholar. She is a Scholar in every sense of the word.

When Aegis was a kid she would often pick up books from passing traders. Reading wasn't a common pass time among her tribe, but she was fascinated by all the knowledge and stories that books held. She consumed every book she could get her hands on. Her insatiable thirst for knowledge only grew.

I like spicy food because I like the way it hurts. It makes me feel awake and alive because it makes me feel like I'm dying. I like that it feels like my food is trying to kill me.

Sephiroth's story jumping straight to Crisis Core doesn't feel right. We were also probably going to get playable Before Crisis. What we got is alright but it's basically just a movie. I wanted playable Turks. At least Glenn is in Rebirth...

The sad part is now that I've finished both episodes of The First Soldier in Ever Crisis, I really think they were probably going to do an episode 3 before it got axed. We were probably going to get baby Genesis and get more backstory on him.

I remember there was this one job I applied to that had a stupid test like this. They made me retake it like 3 times because I supposedly kept scoring too high and they thought I was just choosing the answers that they'd want to hear I didn't get the job. God forbid you be an actual decent person 💀

I'm trying Survival out cause I haven't played on this difficulty in like 10 years. I also made everything wintery and am using Nuclear Winter and a gas mask mod. So I have to manage the cold, hunger, thirst, sleep, and gas mask filters. It's been an interesting experience. I've died a lot lol

I was supposed to spend my day off cleaning so I could actually let people in tomorrow. But my brain is such a mess that I woke up late, ate some cereal and watched twin peaks, then played Fallout 4 all night and forgot to eat again until midnight Why am I like this? This just increases my anxiety

Nyll is taking a smoke break in the ruined half of Vault 81 after stressing over trying to not get bitten by the molerats. She's wearing a jacket and a wool hat to keep warm. There's a mini bot above her head.

She's genuinely pissed about the Solstice because she knows her time with her family is limited and she does not want to have to stay away too long.

Her and Sphene adopt two daughters and raise them alongside Gulool Ja, who has become part of the family. Aegis continues to offer her crafting/gathering services in both Tuliyollal and Alexandria, particularly her culinarian skills. On her off time, she raises her beasts as an extended family.

For Aegis, after DT she marries Sphene and takes up a role in Tural's government. Acting as a sort of liaison between the two nations and the rest of the world that she's made connections with. She also maintains her role as khagan, leading the Xaela back home when needed.

That's a whole entire person with their own life and troubles and stuff that took time out of their busy life to see what I have to offer. Even better if they like and subscribe and keep coming back. I don't need millions of fans. If I can better the life of at least one person... that's enough.

Mayday🀄🦇 Sphene's Vampire Wife @mooncub.us · 23/09/2026

I've had a bit of an epiphany. I often get caught up in the numbers game for streams, videos, posts, etc. But the truth of the matter is that if I have at least one viewer, then that's an entire separate human being I am providing entertainment for. That is actually a really big deal.

I find myself desperately wanting to try to get Queen of the Crucible. I love logging in and petting my beasts and running through the boards. I loved running around catching all of them. I love pulling off sick chains and doing that silly gap closer I am just so happy with it

020

Mayday🀄🦇 Sphene's Vampire Wife @mooncub.us · 23/09/2026

I've never actually wanted to spend time studying boss fights in this game like I have with the crucible. I think about it while I'm at work, I watch videos to figure out the best strats. This must be how Ultimate raiders feel.

I'm getting tired of all the negativity around Beastmaster by my moots lately. This is my favorite content so far in this game. I waited two years for it and I am very very happy with what we got.
