I NEED to write. The stories are screaming in my head to get out. I literally have four separate docs open on my PC at home at all times. I need to finish one of them and my brain needs to stop producing new ones so quickly.

Aegis = Aye jis I know this isn't the correct way to pronounce this word, but it's how I always read it. Lorewise, it isn't her given name. She read it in a book once and used it as her own when she left the Steppe. So she just read it wrong. Her real name is Cota = Coh Tah

When Aegis was a kid she would often pick up books from passing traders. Reading wasn't a common pass time among her tribe, but she was fascinated by all the knowledge and stories that books held. She consumed every book she could get her hands on. Her insatiable thirst for knowledge only grew.

2026 has been a pretty bad year for me but October will be my comeback month. Trust.

I like spicy food because I like the way it hurts. It makes me feel awake and alive because it makes me feel like I'm dying. I like that it feels like my food is trying to kill me.

The sad part is now that I've finished both episodes of The First Soldier in Ever Crisis, I really think they were probably going to do an episode 3 before it got axed. We were probably going to get baby Genesis and get more backstory on him.

I was supposed to spend my day off cleaning so I could actually let people in tomorrow. But my brain is such a mess that I woke up late, ate some cereal and watched twin peaks, then played Fallout 4 all night and forgot to eat again until midnight Why am I like this? This just increases my anxiety

Does your wol/oc have an occupation outside of being an adventurer? Do they settle down after EW/DT etc. and have a normal job? Is it a position of power? #ffxiv #wolqotd

I've had a bit of an epiphany. I often get caught up in the numbers game for streams, videos, posts, etc. But the truth of the matter is that if I have at least one viewer, then that's an entire separate human being I am providing entertainment for. That is actually a really big deal.

I'm getting tired of all the negativity around Beastmaster by my moots lately. This is my favorite content so far in this game. I waited two years for it and I am very very happy with what we got.

Only got about two hours in so far but I'm tired and gonna call it a night early. Townfall is really good and really scary so far. I felt so scared I wanted to cry.

Pour my heart into fictional relationships, because I'll never feel that way again with someone real.

The sad truth is Aegis doesn't actually get a happy ending. She can't die or age. She'll out live Sphene and the kids. 😞

I used my last of my meds today. I instantly started feeling better. It's actually amazing how much better my mental is when I'm on them. Everything is so much clearer. CVS app says the new ones will arrive tuesday still, but the Shop app says tomorrow. Praying the shop app is right for once.

I went and scheduled my refill on the CVS app. I wasn't going to be able to actually go to the CVS in the next town over until today. So when I saw they deliver I was like "sweet!" and did that. It apparently won't be delivered until Tuesday.

Man all I wanna do is go home and write. But once I get home and eat and shower and decompress I then end up only having like two hours where I play a game or something. Then I have to sleep. I need like a week off work locked in a cabin in the woods.

I'm a little sad that the Crucible rankings has been postponed. But at least this gives me more time to practice and prep for it.

Decided to try this game on a whim. I'm liking it so far. It feels like a mix of Infinity Nikki and Pokémon Legends Arceus. I made Aegis as best I could. #Amiino

Aegis in human form in the game Amiino. Her left eye is glowing blue with a black sclera and her right eye is the usual gray with blue limbal ring. She's wearing a blue hooded cloak with a yellow star on the chest.

Behind Aegis sits her Amiino friend, Lunara. A white fox with light blue accents and bright blue eyes.

Book haul! I grabbed the two Yuro Sumino books that don't have audiobooks yet. Three Days of Happiness sounded similar so I nabbed it too. I've read It's Kind of a Funny Story before for school but wanted to reread it. And I've been wanting Chad Fifer's book for years. #BookSky

Still thinking about the other day I was dreaming about how like you'd be able to get the Behemoth and other dungeon/raid locked beasts from Crucible gourds. Then I woke up, cleared the next board, and to my surprise my dream actually came true! Picture unrelated

I can now consistently get Apex rank on the three normal boards and the first master board. The second master board is still kicking my butt tho... I was kinda hoping to clear it before weekly reset, but it isn't looking likely... Just grinding for better gear and beast ranks now #ffxiv

Aegis rides atop her beloved Cu Sith. A big sheep dog thingy.

Behind her is the beastmasters from the beastmaster questline.

Aegis, Sphene, and their two daughters are hanging out with Cu Sith and Aegis' chocobo Phobetor. A Starbird sits on Aegis' shoulder.

An ending screen showing that Aegis got Legendary on the First Board of the Unbroken.

In my mind, Fray is the shard from the seventh umbral calamity. Since Aegis was alive during it, Fray didn't fully rejoin at first, similar to Ardbert. Her voidsent, Leinth, is her shard from the 13th.
