The whole AI/localization drama/plagiarism saga turned into a late-stage telenovela where the writer ran out of ideas and turned in desperation to tropes from cancelled American comic books multiverses to recycle the existing villain cast It feels at times like a radioactive comedy show

Pleased to have worked with our partners on this. I provided font coordination and convinced game engines to play nice with Arabic and Hindi. And lots of translations... Braving these uncharted waters wouldn't be as fun (or possible) without everyone going the extra mile, and I'm grateful for that.

On the latest #TranslatorsintheCredits discourse, a short tangent. In @loclait.com's earlier days, a major local gameloc LSP found out we were paying some of their contractors livable rates as freelancers, then proceeded to ask them to terminate our contract citing "personal reasons".

Helped out with the Arabic localization! It has been a nice technical challenge. At times, I wasn't even sure it would work out... but the developers really believed in the project (I'm still in awe of how much content is crammed in just 32 megabytes...) and delivered an authentic GBA experience.
