don't think i'll ever get warm with the kind of free form "have it your way" style of level & puzzle design that's so pervasive now, esp. (& surprisingly) with nintendo too; design that leans almost exclusively systemic, using "player expression" as a replacement for experiences authored with intent

really love this idea! in addition to experts it would be great to have filter cards either as an addition or in place of expert cards, where the app would favor "recent releases", "games released last year", "obscure games", "short games", "games with 80+% positive steam reviews", etc.

here‘s a strange one: 7 years ago indie games that had little media and „indie dev bubble“ coverage could still sometimes do decent numbers. now it seems that i often see a ton of conversation & excitement about a new, cool looking indie, only to then visit the steam page and see <100 reviews.
