It’s a real bummer that the new Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure series has an outro tune produced by an alleged abuser. Traditionally the outro has a classic pop music track playing over it. So I did my own version with an appropriate 80s track instead.

The youngest person his pager attack killed was 9-year-old Fatima Abdullah, who had just started 4th grade. The pager was on a table when it went off and she picked it up to take to her dad. It exploded in her face and reports said it covered the room in her blood. She wanted to learn English.

Works pretty well. The idea is that I’ll be able to cut clips together from those movies to do a little ‘in memorium’ at the end of the year. The API from TMDb is really good and makes this all possible.

Been teaching my self Python and as a little project I wanted a program that would take the list of movies I’ve watched as part of my movie club and cross reference it the list of actor deaths this year so it outputs a list of the movies we’ve watched that featured those actors.

Can’t believe I’m sick on Transformers Day (anniversary of the first broadcast of the cartoon) and can’t go see the movie rerelease at the cinema. Although I’m more of an orthodox Transformers fan and observe that holiday on May 8th (anniversary of the publication of the first comic book)

I was the black player. It was technically a 3 way tie but I had a card that let me steal the The Brenn title which let me break the tie. Was very funny as the capital moved places twice in the last round as other players tried to grab the title.
