And it really sucks knowing that the US essentially gave the world permission by allowing a shit stain into the White House not once, but twice. We have a lot of restitution in front of us & it's going to take decades. I just hope we can accomplish it all & regain some of the world love we lost.

"These people"? When a community is being harmed & those in a position to enforce rules to help stop the harm suddenly stop doing so & then start banning them for defending themselves, yes, emotions & feelings grow huge. "Those people" are not just naturally aggressive, they are hurt. I'm not

We had a lot of frozen juice & lemonade growing up because it was cheap & we didn't have a lot of money thanks to my alcoholic mom. But it's harder to find now & one major manufacturer of it has stopped making it. Almost all juice now is found in the cold aisles with milk/cheese, etc.

To me, his posts perpetuated a transphobic/hate belief & being the Officer of Trust & Safety, that puts a dark cloud over the entire platform. And given this shift I mentioned that has been noticed by many, it sets off a lot of alarm bells to a lot of users.

Neither of us is right or wrong, we all are different. I just see a different side. I did look at your link. It's interesting! My initial thought was they flag a lot of sexual & porn posts & rarely any hate speech. I did see several "needs review" though & were immediately removed & one suspension

And I have seen a big shift. Not even just in moderation, but with the CEO & other top visible employees. Others have noticed this too & I can understand the anger that is more apparent. That doesn't make it OK to wish harm, but I'm hoping Aaron can use this convo to consider other perspectives

I'm not asking you to not protect your mental health & peace, I'm just asking to try to ensure an entire group of people aren't punished due to a few bad apples & to follow your own guidelines by banning those who are harming that group & giving them reason to be so heated in their responses.

I'm just asking & hoping for you to step back a bit & try to see how this all looks to average everyday users & maybe consider reframing your posts & see if you can tweak your auto blocking to not sweep in almost an entire community of accounts who don't deserve it.
