Imagine running errands in this! This is normal here, there is no in between. It is either downpour with lightning/thunder or nothing. I wish you could hear the thunder better. I love it so much though, I've been a drowned rat several times this week

Best meal of the trip so far was today's lunch. I got it at a little "fanda", basically a hole in the wall type place, the one today was a kitchen only & wood tables sitting in a gravel fenced off area under a metal roof. This was $5. I could easily eat this everyday.

Chicken drumstick in a flavorful red-brown sauce, rice covered in brown beans (not saucy), and their version of coleslaw with a quarter cut cherry tomato on top. Oh, and a small strip piece of fried plantain.

This looks like absolute shit due to the foil wrapping then trying to run home through a downpour holding it & a container of leftover tacos, but this is one of the best bakery items I've ever had. Once the rain stops, I'm going to walk back up & get more, and will get good photos this time.

Lunch yesterday. Shrimp tacos in a chile ancho mayo sauce on top of coleslaw & tomatoes, all topped with black sesame seeds, and panko chicken tacos with a crema sauce. And their version of guacamole. It was basically salsa with avocado, but made as ordered. Damn good food!

For my #birds friends, I saw these two today on tiny islands in the Panama Canal. There were so many cool & new-to-me birds, but these were the only two I was able to get photos. I have no idea of their names yet but I'll look them up. I hope you enjoy these!

Here are some screenshots as well listing concerns. The big one to me (although all are important) is the one about circular financing. Given that some of the companies they have either bought or are about to invest in for their IPO's, this could become a big issue faster than expected.
