She's gone and we're making our own bed - our own existential catastrophe - free of her words that we all said we respected and loved
![Hi, my name is [Your Name], and I'm a constituent from [City, State, ZIP].
I'm calling to demand that you start impeachment proceedings against Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
Hegseth has now twice leaked classified military plans, including sensitive details about upcoming operations in Yemen. He shared this information with unauthorized individuals-putting American troops in immediate danger and compromising national security.
This isn't a mistake. It's a reckless abuse of power by a man who swore to defend this country, not jeopardize it. His actions violate the protocols of the Defense Department, shatter public trust, and create grave risks for service members on the ground.
As a civil officer of the United States, the Secretary of Defense is subject to impeachment under Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution for high crimes and misdemeanors. If leaking classified war plans doesn't qualify, what does?
Congress cannot let this stand. I urge you to act swiftly and decisively. Begin impeachment proceedings. Hold Pete Hegseth accountable. Our national security and the integrity of our government depend on it.
Thank you.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:quu4h7b5nl6ktn4cqq65b3ja/bafkreicsdm4zyounbn57kjo2v7svfgr25flbdadcvbigczihjuksc33zpm)
