@drscottarthurmp.bsky.social hi, as your constituent, I'd be interested to know your thoughts on Starmer's language in this morning's speech on immigration.

Got my two ladies back from "surgery" by Martin at Axe Management in Edinburgh. New pickups and electrics in the 90's Orville LP and a full set up for the 2001 Gibson SG. Both look and sound great! #Gibson #Orville #BareKnuckle #AxeManagement #GuitarSky

Commodore MAX. The other effort to use the VIC-II/SID chip combo. Made by Commodore Japan. Bob Yannes (SID's designer) got so fucked off with the chips being ignored that he went directly to Tramiel and suggested the Commodore 64. Tramiel was like "sure. if you can do it in six weeks" So they did

a worn blue computer box with japanese writing and "max machine". computer in front of it has a very small keyboard with a light grey surround barely larger than that keyboard.

If I were to move my band's account over here from Twitter, what would be the best way to rebuild followers? We play alternative rock/grungy stuff.

Watching Conan the Barbarian. Got to say I'm a little disappointed that little Conan grew up to be Arnold Schwarzenegger and not Ross the Boss from Manowar! #MetalSky #Movies

I've been in Brewdog and Innis & Gunn taprooms in Edinburgh and Glasgow recently, and the price of a decent pint is £7.50! Given they both brew, handle logistics, and sell the beer, you'd think they could keep the price down. It's probably cheaper to buy a punk ipa in a non brewdog bar now. #beer

Got a cheap ticket at the last moment for Anthrax, Kreator, and Testament in Glasgow last night. First gig I've gone to on my own since about 92! I'm glad I went. All the bands were excellent, but I'd say Kreator shaded it. #MetalSky

Not been feeling great with depression/anxiety for the last month or so. Spoke to the practice mental health nurse today and what a great conversation. I know the NHS gets a bad rap especially Mental Health Services but there are good people out there.

Bluesky tip for newbies: Bluesky has no real algorithm. Likes here do nothing but show the poster that you enjoyed their content. That kindness is always going to be appreciated by creators, but if you want to help to boost something here, you have to repost it so others see it. 🙂

For anyone who wants to make the move over to Bluesky, this will analyse your twitter following and/or blocklist and retrieve users with the same credentials over there www.sky-follower-bridge.dev/get-started..... You'll need to already have a bluesky account and use a computer browser.

Trying this out - www.sky-follower-bridge.dev/get-started..... It's a browser extension to map your twitter followers and/or blocklist to bluesky users. If it works I'll probably move my band twitter across here too.
