Imogen @mogenn.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Just succumbed to statistics-induced apoplexy after I looked up the anecdote at the start of The Wisdom of the Crowd, where they said the average from the crowd was better than individual guesses, when it was actually the MEDIAN 000
Imogen @mogenn.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Not gonna lie, so far I've spent most of the time googling who's in a relationship so I know which #strictly couples I can ship 000

Imogen @mogenn.bsky.social · 08/05/2026There are 3 kinds of constituency declaration for the Senedd: 1. Bosses who do it bilingually like it's nothing. 2. Later ND games are longer in a way that feels indulgent, but UC2 is a tight narrative packed with set pieces that still make your jaw drop. 000
Imogen @mogenn.bsky.social · 21/12/2025Yes! I was speaking to a friend who works at Scottish Water, and the public data LLMs are rubbish at e.g. meeting transcription, because it hasn't been trained on subject-specific terms and as a result makes (even more) mistakes. 110

Imogen @mogenn.bsky.social · 27/02/2025This talk of generations reminds me of the historical blood-fraction laws and one-drop rule that were used in America to "racially classify" people.
