Like they try to do this sweeping majestic intro cutscene where a bunch of pokemon are flying by but it's running at like 15 fps and textures are still loading in as it goes. And this is the switch 2 version. I don't need a pokemon game to look like a AAA sony game or whatever, it's just strange

Playing pokemon scarlet right now on switch 2 is kinda wild. Now that I'm into the meat of the game I'm having a lot of fun running around the world and it runs at a good framerate. But the beginning is kind of embarrassing still frankly. You can't help but notice a lot of textures look unfinished

I just 100% this game and it's incredible. If you like the hollow knight games you gotta play it. I was shocked how quality everything was, the only thing weaker is maybe the map design. Just be warned there are some tough parts and a few bosses will absolutely shithouse you

Lace and hornet traveling to different cursed kingdoms and saving them, making sure what happened to theirs never happens again, the shit writes itself. Maybe you pick hornet or lace at the start and they have slightly different paths, maybe it's like portrait of ruin and you switch between them
