I really can't wait to be over with this Blender Class. I am not sure how on earth I will be able to make all the things they want from us while we start other classes and have a full week. Rigging, UV unwrapping, painting, modeling (no sculpting), lighting, animation....it's a bit much for 16 days

I really need to dig into the topic why art or visual design jobs are treated that way. Is it because back in the day people owned artists? Are they afraid? Why do companies and devs treat these jobs this way? Why are they underpaid so much?

Let's talk business, okay? What is the first thing potential consumers see, hm? The fucking design/art. If that sucks a lot, no one is buying shit. No one will get lured into the game if the visual design sucks. So, what do you think is the most important thing from a business perspective?

Someone is searching for 2D Art. 36 Illustrations (comic style, but that is not important right now) for 1500€ and maximum 3000€. You get the job if they can pay you the lowest price. meaning 1500€. Divide that with 36... that means you get 42€ for each illustration. I hope NO ONE applies.

Wow. LOISH got accused of using Ai to make her art. I started following her on early deviantart. I remember first seeing her paintings in college. This is ridiculous, no one is safe. Artists Ive followed for actual decades are getting harassed because their work has been stolen and regurgitated.

I struggle with coloring/rendering because I think my art should look a certain way. Sometimes I think it should look like cell-shading, other times like realism & I am so torn between what I want to learn/do that I 1. don't like coloring, 2. I don't know what I am doing and wanting it to look like.

So regarding my usage of Instagram: I gave myself permission to use IG on my smartphone with one rule: if I see an AD, I close the App. Which makes me not use it, because THERE ARE ADS EVERYWHERE. So I dare you to do this challenge, you won't last more than one post, reel or story.

after taking an amount of painkillers even the packaging says you should not do, my pain is actually bearable and I was able to draw a little bit. 👍🏻 please search for something decompressing yourself which is not drawing if you can't draw if your chronic illness flares up that's not ideal.
