I knew RAM prices were stupid bc of AI garbage, but somehow missed how bad hard drives have gotten, too. The 18gb drive I got for my Plex server was $250 3 years ago and is now going for $750. Can we have Butlerian Jihad now?

I had this idea from reading the elizabeth holmes mouse post and then I couldn't do anything else until i painted the idea to completion

It is a cartoon mouse, like Jerry from Tom and Jerry, shaped like a wedge of cheese presumably because it has eaten a wedge of cheese. The mouse has Elizabeth Holmes' face. The mouse is saying "Why would I deceive you? There's no reason for me to do that."

Nathan Fielder, looking into a fridge where the mouse has eaten a cheese, says skeptically "Okay. Alright."

Got a tiny couch as an excuse to take some toy pictures since I haven't done that for a bit. #figurephotography #toyphotography #snailshell #フィギュア

An action figure of a pink-haired girl (Snail Shell's Aileen) wearing a white t-shirt, grey skirt & red glasses sits on a couch. A black cat sits next to her while beer bottles and a tv remote are scattered on the couch. She hold the controller to an AV Famicom which is sitting on the table in front of her along with an empty bowl, more beer bottles and several Famicom cartridges in various colors. The scene is lit with the glow of a television in a dark room.

“Be Strong enough to be gentle.” Peter Cullen tells the story of how his brother inspired the voice he would use to play Optimus Prime. It’s a simple yet poignant quote that sums up why Optimus and Peter are so beloved. Til All Are One. 💔

Heartbroken to hear about the passing of the legendary Peter Cullen. Its nearly impossible to overstate what transformers meant to me as a kid. I had a pretty crap childhood and one of the things that bought me just a glimmer of joy was transformers.

Deep Thought even does the whole "trying to please the user" bit. "Sorry that that's an unsatisfying answer. I'll do better next time and design a smarter computer for you!" And even then, Earth's question doesn't jive with 42 (yes, yes, base 13 aside)! AI slop on a galactic scale! 2/2

The whole "Deep Thought/42" thing in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy sure takes a different tone nowadays. Maybe 42 really *was* a nonsense answer and the Mice were so sold on their wondrous AI that they would have believed anything it said. 1/2

There were fliers in the halls for an anime club. I'd like to think it's been running unbroken since my time.
