BBC’s Chris Mason calls Farage a “master of storytelling” Maybe the BBC could stop helping him out and tell another story. One about a grifting prejudiced conman who’s wrecked our country with his ‘Breaking Point’ Brexit but has never been held to account for the lies he’s told, the damage he’s done.

Even though the Tories sowed the seeds for this latest blow, the public will associate the increase with Labour. That's not fair - but it's the reality of being in government at the point the chickens come home to roost. The Tories timed their 2024 GE wipeout to perfection, just as the sky fell.

The response to this nasty little foot-stamp from Rees-Mogg is to call out his precious Brexit for the pack of lies that it is, then to improve the deal to such an extent that people want to keep the benefits of better terms. Make a fool of this vengeful little man and his politics of prejudice.

Yes! Why don’t they abolish MP’s fuel allowance (which I understand they get) + subsidised meals? NHS staff have to pay for parking ffs, teachers have to pay for photocopying paper/the rest…. Why are we giving 👁️ watering sums to Royals ? This is a story of the entitled/establishment vs ordinary ppl.

Brexiters howl because they can’t persuade. The lies have been told. The country is observably worse off. The deals with the ‘rest of the world’ are crap. Immigration is up. Sharing regulation is more popular than a race to the bottom. The ‘sovereignty’ bullshit isn’t enough. And they know it.

Labour keep trotting out the excuse that a lack of money forces them to do it when announcing controversial policies. By far the single biggest factor hurting GDP is Brexit, yet Labour are taking a teaspoons-of-water-on-a-forest-fire approach to it. No Brexit honesty = absolutely zero credibility.
