Mitch McConnell hasn’t been seen or heard from in 25 days in the hospital. Yet he still has a job, still getting paid, and getting unlimited world class healthcare. The man who voted against a living wage, against universal healthcare, and against guaranteed paid leave, is now getting all three.

You wouldn't be defending the text (that preceded this excerpt you show) if this was a description of minorities by the Nazis now, would you? But here you are defending your friend writing about an entire nation as though they were subhuman. Wow.

Maybe you should read his descriptions of India and Indians on the first page of the first chapter of the 'Population Bomb'. It is revolting. The rant of a bigot. And on page 2 of the same book he suggested possible compulsory sterilization of the US population.

Great work! I wish Anita had not dignified the names of the English elite involved in the Jallianwalla Bagh massacre (and the Raj in general) with their honorifics. There is something unseemly in seeing 'Sir' next to Michael O'Dwyer - a man who was an unrepentant mass murderer.

Wrong. Canola is a product of biotech. If you include transgenic canola it is a distinctly late 20th century technology.

For the rare jobs that do exist, faculty get to vote on who to hire. Many have an unofficial “no assholes” rule, which makes the working environment so much more pleasant for everyone. If you’re a grievance-obsessed weirdo, and there are 10 equally-qualified normal people, the decision is easier.

As predicted, Trump is horrified and enraged at the idea that Musk is now seen as the President of the United States.

Please allow me to re-share my rough sketch of some advanced carbon capture technology
a cartoon with two panels

panel one is a stick figure saying "oh! a fossil fuel!!" standing above a crudely drawn black lump under a brown ground

Panel two is them walking away and saying "I'll just leave it there"

The head of the person is not a drawn circle but the letter O, because the random software I used to draw it did that for unexplained reasons
