Ah yes, that damned defiant violence, resisting all the efforts to quell it. They would have worked if only the violence weren't so clever!

Fascinating! In Australia you write a number in each box according to preference, and then they're hand counted. But of course that's a small difference in the scheme of things!
An Australian House of Representatives sample ballot paper, showing 8 candidates numbered 1 to 8 in handwriting, with the instruction "number the boxes from 1 to 8 in the order of your choice"

Ok so I asked Google and thus got this LLM answer, which I cannot confidently evaluate. It seems plausible to me, but I reckon I'd be equally convinced within three orders of magnitude. So, astronomers of the Bluesky, what do you reckon?
To completely eclipse the Sun as seen from Venus' upper atmosphere from the Sun-Venus L1 Lagrange point, an object would need to be roughly 7,000 kilometers in diameter - roughly the same size as the Earth itself.

Explanation:

Angular size matters:
What determines the apparent size of an object in the sky is its angular size, not its actual size. To completely block the Sun, the object at L1 needs to appear the same angular size as the Sun when viewed from Venus.

Calculating the size:
Since the Sun is much larger than Venus, the object at L1 needs to be large enough to cover the Sun's apparent disc from Venus' perspective.

Key points to remember:

Distance to L1:
The distance from Venus to the L1 point is relatively fixed, meaning the required object size remains constant.

Venus' atmosphere:
Viewing from the upper atmosphere of Venus might slightly affect the apparent size of the

So mygovid.gov.au (unrelated to your my.gov.au ID) is becoming myid.gov.au. A perfectly cromulent change.
An email from myGovID with subject "myGovID is changing its name to myID [SEC=OFFICIAL]". The email text is:

Do not respond by email.
We use hyperlinks to give you information. If you don’t want to click hyperlinks,
you can search for the information on the myGovID website.

myGovID will soon have a new name and look

Hi [name obliterated]

Soon, the Australian Government’s Digital ID app, myGovID, will be changing its name to myID. It will have a new name and look, but you'll continue to use it in the same way.

There is nothing you need to do, and you’ll still have:

>	your same details: don’t set up a new myID, your login details

...

Below that is visible the top half of the following line, an alt text exclusive: "(including email address) and identity strength remains the same".

This has been very meta alt text overall (just to get even more meta for a second, and so on ad infinitum parantheteum), especially the image replacement thing. But it is important context; it's a remote image and so my email client has blocked it for privacy.

Should I be saying thank you?! I mostly say "ah yeah I think so too!" or "yeah he's adorable but an absolute menace."
A white-furred golden doodle asleep in his dog bed, curled up and looking cute. In the background a beanbag is also visible, and some fluff that appears to be from inside a cushion or the like. I can in fact tell you exactly which cushion it came from, because we had to replace it. And two others.

I thought so too! And Google Trends data doesn't disagree; the trend and max of "has the juice" increases with and after "it's corn" spikes. But seems it wasn't coined there?
A screenshot of Google Trends comparing search terms "it's corn" and "has the juice" over the past five years. "It's corn" has a large spike to 100 a couple of years ago, but is otherwise mostly flat around 0 before and maybe 15 after. "Has the juice" moves up and down somewhat periodically, between 20-25 and 50. It maintains its pattern but increases maximum and generally trends higher during and after the "it's corn" spike.
