I'm thrilled that you liked the books! That makes me look forward to the show even more! Is it confirmed that the Davenport character is Jensen? Are the books complete per novel or linked storylines? I find as I get more ancient, I have less patience for the " search for his nemesis" type stories 😝

Apparently I am a “coot, reliable and predictable.” An old coot, to be precise. 😄

Linked below is an essay I wrote in September 2011 detailing my personal experiences on September 11, 2001. It's been slightly updated to reflect the passage of time since it was first written. 2/2 cassiopeia7.dreamwidth.org/594875.html

Link wouldn’t work for me but I went straight to DW to read—reread—and it hit me hard. It’s crazy that lately younger people seem to want to downplay what happened. They need to read your essay and try to put themselves in someone else’s shoes. *HUG❤️*

This reminds me of the Jesus Freaks when I was a teen. Things get rough and confusing and people look for answers that soothe them. The answers now happen to include fillers and 90s style blonde hair.

Officially obsessed with the former home of the jazz musician Dave Brubeck.

A view of Dave Brubeck's amazing house through the woods

Dave Brubeck's old living room, with its ridiculous mahoosive windows, stone walls and a sofa for all of his seventeen imaginary wives.

A moon door in the garden of Dave Brubeck's house which is clearly an interdimensional portal

The wonderful extravagant stone staircase at Dave Brubeck's house, and the piano where he probably wrote my favourite album of his, 'Jazz Impressions Of Japan'.
