it’s been 11 years since Lissy showed up. she was 100% tuxitude from day one. I miss my baby every day, but am so grateful for the nine and a half years we had together…and also maybe a little relieved her brothers don’t have the same diva tendencies 😅

RT with your home river. my first home river was the Cheboygan, two blocks from the first place I called home. then it was the Pigeon, along which I spent many hours camping, hiking, and occasionally swimming despite the leeches. now it’s the Potomac and I wouldn’t advise doing any swimming there.

I experienced magic at 3:30 this morning. if I wake up in the middle of the night, Coal comes running for attention. not sure if it’s because he’s a big tough guy who doesn’t want anyone to know he loves his mama or because getting pets in the middle of the night is a novelty.
