You are invited to take in an afternoon of ambient interstellar electroacoustic drift vibes. Cosmic Homeostasis is an artistic collective that gathers for the purpose of creating large-ensemble improvised drone-based music. Mixing performers with diverse musical backgrounds and experience levels, performances create space to develop improvisatory skills through listening while constructing unique sonic environments.

This special gathering is in celebration of our new "studio" album, which was also recorded at 918 Bathurst. Tapes and download codes will be available, and we will perform "a score in three movements", which we interpreted (twice!) on the album.

There will be two sets of music, starting shortly after 4:00, a video screening, and a special guest performance!

Snack zone will be in effect! Chairs provided, BYOB (bring your own blanket if you want to sprawl out/relax).

PWYC / all are welcome (family friendly, bring the kids!) / help us listen to whispers from space

For a release to be distributed legally in Canada the album has to be rerecorded entirely or SOCAN will ignore it. That's why so many represskngs are expensive here, the import duties on non-rerecorded music
