A screenshot of Plexamp, on its 'Sonic Adventure' feature. It allows you to select two tracks that are very different, and it will use its Music Genome Project / Picard API controls to make a playlist from your music that "thematically" guides you from A to B.

I have started with Neil Cicierega's song "Just a Baby", and ended with "Not My Baby" by Alvvays.

More and more, I grow dissatisfied with app drawers of all forms. iOS, Android, Windows, MacOS, GNOME... They're all bad. The only paradigm that makes any sense to me is "search to launch" tools like Spotlight or that other one that has an app store that everyone loves.
