In all the Duskbloods hype, I forgot to mention that I'm the exact target audience for this. I hope this time it gets to be canonical.

The Duskbloods (a new From Software title) is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026! Who saw that coming? Apparently an interview with the director is being released in a couple of days, so I'll delay my video on the trailer to include that information. See you then!

A "Tarnished Edition" of Elden Ring is also coming to Nintendo Switch 2, with new armor sets an Torrent customisations that will become available on other platforms as well. Calling it the "Tarnished Edition" is certainly a choice lol

💀 @mistwarp.bsky.social · 02/04/2025

piss on the poor reading comprehension on me, okay i understand what they're saying now. instead of using those digital cards you just get a digital version of a game cartridge but the actual physical copies of the cartridge are still a thing. so no it's not getting rid of physical.

THEY STILL HAVE STANDARD CARTS. As they said in the direct, the new carts have faster data reading speeds. Game-Key Cards are something SEPARATE. This would be the new equivalent of buying Fortnite IN-STORE. Instead of a download code, you would use this.

So my bf might have puzzled it out but he’s not an expert as he said nor do I think most people are. We are landing on it might be a response but it’s likely region locking which isn’t? New for Ninten,do either but it’s a huge could be but also maybe not?

Spoiler for The Duskbloods trailer - - - - My immediate wild speculation from the trailer is that this feathered bat is the game's Melina. I feel like a vampire gave you her blood and will follow you around as a bat. Something about how the eyes are stylized reads to me as "this is a character".

That might be the leak I was thinking off then thank you! And yea I need to go over it again but I don’t recall how bad it would affect gaming. My bf might be able to get info on it tbh he knows this stuff like the back of his hand.

💀 @mistwarp.bsky.social · 02/04/2025

I honestly expected back in November / December when rumors were going around for the price to be around 400 / 500 but idk. Maybe I’m not remembering right but I’m not surprised at all

I don’t know where people are getting the tariffs being the cause of the switch 2s cost because it was like 450 estimated months ago

The lighting is really awful I’ll be honest. Like I joke about it being the ugliest funnest Pokemon game I played but it needs massive improvement. The lag is AWFUL too
