Resident Evil was as good as you all built up for me. Perfect translation of what it's like playing the video games. Lots of fun references that didn't feel overloaded or obvious, either. Another W for Zach Cregger.

Hard to discuss without spoilers or oversharing on main, but Control Resonant's depiction of trauma—specifically childhood trauma—really resonated (ha) with me in a way I don't think many other video games have. I wasn't a massive fan of Dylan in the first game but he really grew on me in this one.
