Finished this one last night! Talk about epic! Probably one of the craziest comics I've read. Space opera, science fantasy, grim dark, body horror all thrown into a blender into a tumultuous story.

Having finally completed Alice Madness Returns, I think overall I enjoyed this game more than the Alice 1. While there is less weapons and such, I think gameplay-wise, Madness Returns is the better game. The level design is pretty linear with a lot of platforming and combat sections thrown in.

Finally finished this game. Yeah, this is a cool game. Sound design and art direction is pretty awesome. The story is pretty sad albeit hopeful by the end. The weapons are cool but gimmicky as hell. The level design loses a lot of steam by the end.

Just completed No Rest For The Living for Doom II. Overall, this was a short but sweet mapset. Level design is pretty good and I like how this one is a little more challenging in that it limits ammo for you. The gameplay is pretty well-thought out and stuff, no annoying sections in the levels.

Well I finally completed TNT Evolution, overall it was alright. I think Plutonia Experiment is the better wad due to better level design, use of monsters, architecture, and just better gameplay overall. I think TNT has some cool ideas, Wormhole and Mount Pain probably being the most notable. (1/5)

Playing through Doom II: TNT Evilution and man, people weren't kidding about how massive and underpopulated these levels are. It's been kind of boring honestly, like Plutonia was definitely a lot more interesting to play.

Been playing through Doom II: Plutonia Experiment. The levels are starting to get easier as I reach the end of the map pack. I'm still dying quite a bit, but I'm also done. I also completed the secret levels and holy shit, "Go 2 It" was pretty awesome albeit kind of exhausting lol.

Recently I bought and read Barking by Lucy Sullivan. A very dark and heavy comic about mental illness, grief, and inner demons. The art is very raw and abrasive, the way the dialogue is conveyed is thoughtfully disorganized. The book pushes the medium in a way that I haven't seen before.

RSS is really underrated honestly. Great way to keep track of updates and news without using relying on social media. I even found that they are helpful for checking the status of certain websites. I wonder what other uses RSS has, need to do some more digging.
