Highly recommend snagging a cheap roku or an apple TV and using that as the dedicated box. You're better off having a little TV cube and using the actual smart tv as a dumb TV. (Bonus points for Apple TV if you use apple devices you can easily stream stuff to it.)

Please go play Q*Bert, especially if you can find a physical arcade cabinet for it. The original cabinets had Pinball mechanisms in them so when something would fall off the pyramid, there'd be a real CLUNK in the machine and it genuinely adds so much to the experience PLEASE go play Q*Bert

I love coming back to the technology connections video on these because it's such an entertainingly dumb idea the more you learn about it, from the target audience to the way of disposing them. The tech behind it is neat with how it works but that's about it, everything else is pure stupid.

Not too far in it yet but so far? Eh. First impressions are alright. I can feel the old bethesda game muscle memory kicking in with how I navigate things. Gunplay's fine, ship combat is pretty cool, but I'll need to get deeper to form a more concrete opinion.
