#lastnightsmovie I, Origins. You should watch this. A slightly nerdy + somewhat sciencey romance that has TWO of cinema's best hand-over-mouth WTFs. Michael Pitt + Britt Marling bring heft. Astrid B-F brings the MPDG energy. Defies genre so naturally fell between the gaps.

#lastnightsmovie The Moment. Absolutely loved this. Once again CXCX has her cake + eats it. A near the knuckle mockumentary that skews agonisingly close to reality lensed by some The Thick Of It horror. CXCX + A Skarsgard shone. Horribly familiar in places. Gold medals all round

#lastnightsmovie The Furious. Well. I have little patience for such things but was into this well enough. It invites + received comparisons with The Raid. It's closer than most, I will concede. But the Raid's fight scenes had way fewer edits + that's what made it so dazzling imo.

#lastnightsmovie SPIDER-MAN. All about the internal journey (man) this one. Spidey is lonely + working too hard. So it's very emo. The plot is a tad overstuffed+ slips from focus a lot. Too many unwarranted guest appearances. No bad bits per se but logic suffers + it's overlong.
