Momo's forced to relive a monster's Japanese nostalgia. That involves being put into period films and maybe being boiled alive. How does Power Rangers turn that into invisible boats and Tanya's cheating ex-boyfriend? The answers may surprise you in today's Oh, Zeo! youtu.be/MTEI2vXW06Q

Honestly, that's what I'm trying to find out too. 🫣

Whoa. I didn't expect there to be such a consensus.

Oh, crap! That was today? No joke, no shade... I completely forgot! 😅

Funnily enough, though, I don't think he's made this comment on my channel's very first review, which actually was *about* Return of the Jedi. Ohhh, if he only knew how much I disparaged it there!🤣

1170

MistareFusion @mistarefusion.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

He's never been exceptionally rude about it. In fact, it's pretty much the same comment every time, telling me I'm "wrong," and suggesting the same book to fix my wrongness. I've... chosen to ignore it, and I thought he finally gave up, but I just got another one on my latest video half an hour ago!

Three years ago I made a Donkey Kong Country 3 video. In it, I joked about third installments in a trilogy being weakest, and I used Return of the Jedi as an example. Ever since, *for three years*, one person has chased me across every platform to offer to explain to me why I'm wrong about Jedi.

I know YouTube recently changed how it counts views, so I don’t know exactly how this stacks up, but #2 was made after the change too, and this still blows it out of the water. And these numbers are from a week ago! It feels really nice to get a win like this, so thank you for making it possible. 💕

A partial image of YouTube’s view ranking of recent videos, with The Failure of Frost sitting at 40.6k views after 4 days, far above the second video, Super Retcon Balls at 18.0k.

So the president calls you a transgender slur, and your response is to go, "Hey, no, actually, he's right. They are slurs, and I hate them"? Could Democrats go one day without pathetically capitulating to Republican framing of issues? Could you, maybe, not be Diet Republican and stand up for people?

If I buy two more items in that franchise, it upgrades the description to "Unhealthily obsessed with Sailor Moon... loser."

Why do I feel like you're judging me, Amazon? 🥺

Product Preferences: Likely systematically collecting Sailor Moon manga

You think you know me, Amazon, but you don't. I only show you what I want you to see. I'm not just a mountain biking, Sailor Moon-collecting nerd with a large data storage capacity. I have a wild side! Just the other day I put a pink streak in my hair, and I own a black bra! See? Wild. Untamed.

I don't think mine is terribly surprising either. =P

In retrospect, I probably should have blocked him after this one, but it was just so funny!

A comment from @jhkuno88 reading, "What is this shit?!? We want DBall qnd (sic) we want it now. Give it to us or die."

MistareFusion @mistarefusion.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Ooooh, just so you know, I had to block that... unpleasant person... a few years ago. Long time commenter, but I finally got fed up. Honestly, the "88" in his screen name should be enough justification for sending him packing.

A comment from @jhkuno88 reading, "Feeling a bit lazy this week, huh? Are you too busy sharing dresses with your 10 year old little sister?" Reply from me reading, "I'm being lazy by... giving you an extra video? Well, I can tell you the one thing I'm no longer going to be lazy about: blocking you. I've given you countless chances to learn how to behave, but clearly you're just a completely worthless person. Bye!"

Momo's forced to relive someone else's nostalgia. How does Power Rangers turn that into invisible boats? Then a tiny Tommy and Kat come face to face with a tarantula. Can you believe that it's based on children in a dancing cram school? Check out Oh, Zeo early at patreon.com/MistareFusion!

I don't think that my scores have changed. Phew. Given how many hundreds of hours of opinions I have put out, it would be very hard for me to single out something that's changed. Ugh, I know there are things! I'm just struggling to think of any!

My friend and I spent Friday night with her dyeing a streak of pink and purple in my hair in between watching episodes of Degrassi. I think we hit peak millennial teen girl weekend... in our 40s! Better late than never. 🤣

My takeaway is this: People are talking about cross-cultural media experiences. It's inevitable that someone somewhere is going to say something that doesn't mesh with your experience. Is it Tenchi Muyo! or No Need for Tenchi? Depends! So just, you know, when a disconnect happens, don't be an ass!

I'd owned Metroid for years but was too scared to approach it. I finally did during the pandemic, and I ended up having a lot of fun drawing my own maps and charting my routes. I agree with your jank spots (transition hits suck), but I also agree it's a fun game if you meet it on its own terms.

I don't think people really understand the psychic impact of knowing that multiple times a day every day your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and everyone who could ever have any power over you is being flooded with agitprop designed to make them hate you

Cool, but you seem far more interested in bragging about how you sided with Republicans against trans rights. Your margins have been shrinking for ten years. Here's hoping this is what gets you booted out the door, and that the people of Ohio can get a representative who isn't an awful person.
