Not given the energy company a metre reading in so long they sent me a letter to tell me it’s been 8(!!!) months 😅🤣 Thanks to Neko bringing in a little creature that crawled by the cupboard, the space was empty enough that I finally did it this morning.

I don’t know if it’s a Vinted thing, or an InPost thing, but one of these books has travelled all the way to the east of Birmingham just to come back up north to be delivered 15 miles from my drop off point. I get travelling a few miles out of the way, but this is WILD.

Another 9pm listing on Vinted, followed with another 10pm sale, shortly followed by another parcel in the locker by 11pm 🤣🤣🤣 3 nights in a row!!! I’m now up to £8.50. 4 books sold for £8.50 in 3 days. Is this luck? Is this somehow getting the right time of day?!

I’ve applied for 2 jobs today. Both at the same organisation, but different levels of job. Crossed fingers! If I could get the higher paying one, that would be better, as it’s a part time job.

Apparently after 10pm is the perfect time to sell books on Vinted. Got my next sale. 2 books for £2.50 Total made in 2 days £5.50 (once the books arrive and I get the money) Not too shabby 😆

@jaymc.bsky.social I can’t reply to your post or to Star’s reply to your post. I use a meal service called Frive, but it’s not like Hello Fresh, the meals have already been prepared. You just pop them in the microwave. If you are interested I have a code :)

Selling a book on Vinted is great and everything but now I keep going on there and refreshing everything hoping for more sales, even though I know these things take time, and some might never sell 😅🤣

1000 DAYS OF WALKING OUTSIDE! IN A ROW! I made it! I don’t know why there isn’t a specific one for 1000 days but I’ve still done it! (It’s always a few days behind yet has my full stream at the end of the text.)

Put some books on Vinted about an hour ago. Already sold one for £3. I don’t even know how that happened. I put it on for £4. They asked if I’d take £3. I said yes. They paid. Now I have to do stuff.

Messaged a therapist I saw in 2022 and asked if I could book an appointment. I think I just need to talk about everything that’s happened. She hasn’t replied. It was 8pm on a Friday, and I did say “no need to reply til Monday” but now I’m like WHY HAVEN’T YOU REPLIED YET (at 11pm at night 😆)

Spilt £2.50 worth of Anbesol all over my sink. It’s a good job I probably wouldn’t use it all up before it goes off anyway. But ffs.

Somehow I’ve got lots of social things coming up. Monday I’m meeting a friend for a drink and a walk. Tuesday is my book club. The following Saturday I am meeting some people I don’t know well anymore but have known a long time. The following Monday my car is in the garage (not so social)

It’s not even been 3 weeks since my job ended and there’s still so many feelings to get my head around. On top of that, it’s been almost 3 weeks since my job ended and I don’t feel like I’ve had much time to rest, despite doing very little. Time is weird. Recovering from shit is weird.

Tomorrow I am going to go and relax somewhere quiet. Yay for past-me booking a spa overnight for 2 weeks post-unexpected redundancy.

I can’t decide between going to bed (only been awake for 11.5 hours 🙄) or going for a drive.

Oh yay. Feeling restless again.

Considering applying for basic jobs for a few months because right now I’m not seeing much I actually want to apply for but maybe I could find a basic job that would give me a break from a heavier job. But who knows if it even would or if it would be stress in minimum wage

Money is coming my way! Yay! One ate of the redundancy payment process is pretty much over. It’ll still take almost 2 weeks for the money to arrive, but it’s something.

What are the chances Lidl will sell the ice cream sandwich I ate for about 2 weeks before they stopped selling them?! 😫 I miss them. It’s been five minutes. There’s not enough ice cream sandwiches in the world.

Neko’s nickname ‘buddy’ because ‘Buddha’ and now I’m beginning to think his weird big belly isn’t a coincidence and is instead him being a laughing Buddha or something. He is a healthy shape and size. Except when he stands weird his belly makes him look pregnant.

My Ny Ny has been on my bed in the night again 🥰 it doesn’t happen all the time, but I have appreciated it so much. The way she cuddles up close and purrs when I stroke her, even though I’m mostly asleep 😊

Disney+ are letting me pause my subscription for 8 weeks which is perfect because I probably want to get it back around Christmas so I can watch Christmas things but also catch up on shows that are coming back around now

I’ve had arthritis in some of my fingers for many years. I think one of my thumbs is ‘going’ 😭 it’s so painful. Worse than most of the fingers most of the time.

Sat in the office car park waiting for company from colleagues to return items to the administrators. I never thought I’d ever have to do this in all of the 6.5 years I worked here.

I feel like we’re at the point now in the UK where we need to label cafes as NOT dog friendly, since the majority seem to be. Tell us which ones won’t have dogs in, because telling us which allow dogs seems pointless.
