just rode West Coast Racers and was confused where second train loaded and asked the friendly people in line who'd been chatting with me where the other train loaded and they just give me a weird look. After riding I get what a silly question that was.

I wish Dawntrail did with Estinien what Thousand Year Door did with Luigi. Just stick him in Tuliyollal somewhere where we can speak with him and get updates on the completely unrelated adventure he's been having while we're off doing the main plot.

Wanting to nab myself a new computer desk, which means todays adventure is cleaning up and taking apart my current setup. Starting with the drawer of miscellaneous tangled wires.

Bit bummed I didn't record a reaction to the Evercold trailer live but at the same time just chilling at the con was great. Was just happy to be there!

I'm seated right below the path of the camera and they keep flying it like right above my head, and it's taking all my strength to resist the gremlin urge to touch it.

I turned 74 cards (plus 30 bucks) into 5 much prettier, shinier cards. This completes my chocobo track set of XIV cards. Gonna be putting those in a frame. #ffxiv #magicthegathering

I am happy with pretty much all of these decisions, though I think "banned as companion" is a bad choice and would suggest a different designation I know we can all agree on: "banned as a companion unless your commander is an otter."

Am I the only one who hates when the hold music is interrupted by a robot voice 'thanking me for my patience?' Like if you're trying to make me less mad about having to wait this long it aint working, you're throwing off my groove! >:T

Decided to actually put all my laundry in my dresser rather than just letting it sit in my clean laundry basket for once, and have discovered there isn't actually enough room in my dresser for all my clothes.

I am massively in favor of the hybrid mana rules change because I realized it means they could have made Alisaie hybrid red/white if it worked that way and I will forever rally against this injustice. Girl is RED. Secondary color white, sure, but her moral code involves a lot of stabbing.

Bout to drive for 3 and a half hours, go to get a hot chocolate from Starbucks... They're closed. See what else is around. Try Jack in the Box. They don't serve it. Burger King. Same. McDonalds. Their machine is broken. I was ready to accept the universe didn't want me caffeinated.

Stopped by Dice n Duels in Fernley for their Commander night. Honestly going to other towns LGSes for game nights is super fun. Also found a really weird TTRPG book for 10 bucks and impulse bought it.

Wanted to look up LGSes around Reno cus I'll be stopped there for a bit and there's not much else I wanna do for my brief time in town. First Reddit thread Google gives me: "Anyone know any good Local GUN Shops in Reno?" ...never considered that's also what that could stand for >_>;;

My #Pokemon hot take is still that regional forms are superior to mega evolutions. They aren't limited to one per party which ironically limited team building cus you're obligated to run one, they can come back in other games without needing a gimmick attached, and they highlight niche mons better.

This really seems to be a combination of recency bias and people being jaded about UB sets because like I'm sorry, I get Final Fantasy has some issues but... FIFTH worse set? Yall realize how low the bar is here right? You're putting it on the same level as the disaster that was Aftermath??

It feels like everybody in the #deltarune fandom is pretty onboard with DessKnight theory but I am not so convinced. I won't be surprised if she IS the knight, but it feels a bit too obvious, and also doesn't mesh with her also being the person stuck in the code, which I think is more likely.

MissingNovice @missingnovice.bsky.social · 12/08/2025

Sort of an MTG hot take, but of the many problems Magic has, I feel like product fatigue is like... a very overexaggerated issue. You do not NEED to be 100% informed on literally every card coming out for literally every format. The average person is not competing at a level where it's necessary.
