Any sound design peeps that could share some tips about multiband compression? It's been a bit of a blind spot for me until now, but I picked up Fabfilter's Pro MB in the sales recently. When do you find yourself reaching for MB compression and how do you typically use it? #gameaudio #sounddesign

I went onto my apartment rooftop to record the sound of the fireworks but there were people up there, watching the fireworks, talking, laughing, and enjoying themselves. How dare they? 😡 Managed to record some from the courtyard instead. They're a bit more echoey but I think I got some good bits!

youtu.be/mI3UqW1CDOU?... Sekiro sword combat is absolute #gameaudio gold for me. The pitch of the sword strikes tells you whether it's safe to keep attacking or whether it's your turn to parry 2:02 in that video shows this really nicely: high pitch strike -> low pitch strike -> parry (repeat x2)

Oh this was really fun!! Matthew set up a sound design challenge for the Frontier audio team - we each had 1 hour to design the boost sound for this ship in any way we like. Then he took stems from each of the submissions and combined them into what is now the final product 😄 #GameAudio
