Rendabiliteit is een ander woord voor efficiëntie. Net als efficiëntie is rendabiliteit relatief: het vergelijking input Y met output X. Politici kijken vaak (en heel kortzichtig) alleen naar euro's als input en output, maar weet je wat dan ook onrendabel is? Je toilet en verwarming.
