After a few nudges to try and get him to move, I find the only solution is for me take my pillow and relocate. We used to have the most sleep inducing couch, now the spare room works just fine! 😴

For the first time since 2020 I found myself in a specialist’s rooms without a mask on. I got a lift and I usually keep my N95s in my car, so found myself maskless! Rooms had air filters (👏) and only one patient waiting so I felt some comfort. But my first preference is still to mask!!!

The ‘telling’ part of this will be how many people watch this execution. If an execution, carried out by a firing squad, is televised and watched by any great number of the USA population, it really is time for all of us non-Americans to put as much distance between between you and us As we can.

🩷 The best examples of ‘community’ and ‘social cohesion’ are when neighbours look out for each other. We Have become surrogate grandparents to our neighbours daughters and we are only renting here! I’m not ’nanna’ but I am often referred to as ‘bro’ !! 😜 and I love it.

Who? just about anyone who can afford it & many more who cannot! I had to replace my phone this year because its OS was no longer supported & apps would no longer run on it. When I showed my phone the salespeople laughed at me but also told me it was one of the best phones ever made!

That is shocking that the patrons at that market (its full of sustainable and organic produce from small growers) wouldn’t drown out the ON canvassers. Eltham was a diverse and inclusive community that offered sanctuary to refugees, can’t imagine ON being welcomed there. Don’t fall for PHON BS!!

Is a democracy really a democracy without a sausage? We have elections on a Saturday because we really do want everyone to be able to vote & we have many voting booths so the wait is never very long. Early voting & postal votes available to everyone who wants to vote that way. Make your vote count.

That’s really interesting because I have Polish heritage and mum was a huge baker. All of her family used to make babkas that looked like this. Always in a ring tin and always with the two mixes swirled. Must be a regional difference. Ps babka means grandma in Polish PPS yours looks fantastic!!

For me, as a long term LABOR voter, I find myself closely aligning with the Greens on major issues. You are right, we didn’t like the tail wagging the dog with the Coalition however, the middle ground between Labor & The Greens would give me the political representation I’m after. It’s complicated.

IMHO the two most iconic train stations I have ever visited are 1. Sydney Circular Quay - when you get off that train & you see The Harbour Bridge and Opera House right in front of you. 2. Venice Santa Lucia - when you walk off that train platform and Venice in all it’s glory hits you in the face!

If asked about taxing gas, affordable housing, AUKUS and Palestine I think LABOR supporters are more closely aligned with the GREENS ATM. If LABOR doesn’t consider this very carefully they may well lose their clear majority next time around.

It’s funny, but I don’t view his style as ‘combative’. When he asks reasonable questions of public servants & CEOs and they respond by avoiding or worse still obfuscating with their answers I think he has a right to demand accountability, to pursue an answer. He plays their game better than they do.

I would prefer Greens to keep pushing Govt to the left. Our LABOR govt is just a bit too ‘centre’ and the centre has definitely shifted to the right with the increase in hard right politics bombarding us 24/7.

It’s important to note that PHON‘s offering is simple but there isn’t a solution in sight. People have lost the ability to think clearly, to question. That’s a huge liability when much of politics is ruled by media owners, big corporations and billionaires.
