Figure from the report showing that the global prevalence of loneliness is 15.8% in all people who responded. The percentages is highest among the youngest individuals of 13-7 years of age, and lowest among the oldest individuals of more than 60 years of age.

Why do people follow disliked social norms? Derung farmers still divide harvest equally by household regardless of labor contribution, although 1) the value of labor increased, 2) they support rewarding labor, and 3) they expect no social costs for rewarding labor. www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/.... 1/3
