A Sun newspaper article that last week likened Milton Keynes to a ‘failed Chinese mega-city has prompted an angry response from Labour MP Emily Darlington.

A free event is being organised by MK City Council to offer advice on local jobs and training opportunities plus health and wellbeing.

River levels remain high in response to recent rainfall. Flooding remains possible. Areas most at risk are around the River Great Ouse from Newport Pagnell to Roxton. The forecast is for predominately dry conditions until tomorrow Sunday 01 December 2024, when further rainfall is expected.
