BTW, this is a tap in/tap out system. The fare is calculated by distance. I bought a transit card for S$10 which includes S$5 for fares. I bumped it up to a total of S$50 (S$45 for fares).

Tomorrow's main objective is the National Museum of Singapore, and if I'm not too exhausted, two art galleries close by. You need to be careful in Singapore. The weather is perpetually humid rain or shine. But just like Canadians and winter, the citizens here have adapted. Today's pict: a bridge.

Did one war monument, one church, and two museums today. The National Gallery of Singapore was a bit of a bust. Much of it was closed at the beginning of the year for a 10 year renovation program.

I was in a bulkhead airline seat, the ones that are slightly narrower because of the tray table and IFE in the armrest. No trouble at all fitting in it! And I managed to get some sleep!

Only for the flight to Vancouver. Not too bad. No meal service, though. You have to pay for your food. I brought my own. 😁 I brought veggies, meat sticks, two frozen yogurts, and a frozen egg and cheese sandwich. Ate the sandwich, first yogurt, and cucumbers on the flight to Vancouver.
