I wouldn't want her to be enticed by cream or custard to find out what it is when she bites into it 😬

Milly Mammoth and Blueberry Bear @millymammoth.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Human has asked me to keep Blueberry Bear out of the kitchen for the last few days. She won a blueberry pie made by a #GBBO contestant. Blueberry Bear is rather sensitive about her name, so we try not to bring actual blueberries into the house. But I have to admit, this pie smells really good... 🥧

I wish! They aren't cider apples, unfortunately.

We went apple picking @nationaltrust.org.uk Hanbury Hall this afternoon. We might have shaken the tree a bit hard as lots of apples fell off and onto the ground 🙈 We also bought cider and honey and had cake! #SmallBearAdventures

While we are sad that the little Brum @camraofficial.bsky.social mini beer festival was cancelled, we did not object to a night out at Brum Brew Co for their mini beer festival. And after that, we headed to Cloak and Dagger PUB for more beer! #smallbearsneedbeer

Human has been a wheezy mess since we got back from Germany despite still being on antihistamines 🤧

We're out with @brumbeerbabs. We're having a beer tasting night and have all these beers to try. We've got this! *Stretches paws* #smallbearsneedbeer

We got home from our whirlwind adventure last night around 9:30pm. We kind of fell asleep as soon as we got out of the bear bag. Human even left us where we were rather than tucking us into bed properly *Tuts* #SleepyBears 😴

But this did not result in a #BearDown situation. Definitely not.

We met @bearemyted.bsky.social tonight in Cologne! 🇩🇪 We ate huge schnitzel and drank lots and lots of Kölsch! #SmallBearsNeedBeer

We're in Bruges! We have bought chocolate, we've eaten frites covered in carbonnade flamande, we've drunk beer and most importantly, we met @hungarianbear.bsky.social and @beerbear21.bsky.social! #SmallBearsNeedBeer

Luna has been excitedly running around wearing 'the ears' that Human came with a few weeks ago. We keep trying to explain that we aren't sure if they are 'ethical ears' and haven't come from an actual bear, but she is insistent on wearing them. #nobearsharmed

We are small bears, but not tiny ones. But, we also have very healthy appetites 😊

We dropped into @nationaltrust.org.uk Calke Abbey on the way home for a badly needed scone. We are pleased to say that their huge cheese scones were absolutely delicious 😋

We have spent the weekend as #SteamBears at Steampunk at the Asylum in #Lincoln. We had so much fun, but are soooooo tired! Blueberry Bear is really chuffed with the new hat she bought at the market at the castle.

Not quite where we thought our adventure today would take us. Our friend is in hospital, so we made a looong diversion to visit her and cheer her up a little. We're sure Human didn't mind driving in torrential downpours! #SmallBearAdventures

Well, this is something we haven't done in a while - going on an adventure wearing our rain macks! Let's hope the thunder stays away today! #smallbearadventures #rainyday ☔

*mammoth quake* 'I don't like thunderstorms!' 😭 *It's okay Milly, we can just stay in the blanket fort tonight. Luna, could you bring us snacks? And maybe a bottle of Scottish single malt?' #thunderstorm #scaredymammoth #scaredybear

While Blueberry and I spent the weekend getting wrecked with @reddyteddy.bsky.social, NatBatlet accompanied Human to some big music events. Since we got home, she and Luna have not stopped talking about their weekends, while we both have fur of the bear and want quiet...😫

There is a Moondial, but we didn't get a chance to see it as we were being chased by the small human cub across the adventure playground most of the day. Hopefully we can see it on a future visit

He appeared to be snot free today. But there could have been lurking germs. At least we know he meant well

We had a day out with friends at Belton House! We had so much fun on the adventure playground! We even had ice cream, and found a geocache! We did, however, get a bit squished by a human cub who was soooo excited to meet us. #SmallBearAdventures

It's #TooHotToBeFurry 🥵 and we are trying to beat the heat. We've had ice pack massages, ate all the ice cream in the freezer and have been having fridge spas. We gave Human a fright when she opened the fridge to make dinner and the first thing she saw was Luna! #Heatwave 🥵🥵🥵🥵

NatBatlet keeps jumping up and down on Luna's tummy which is making her laugh, and her laugh is so funny, that we can't help but laugh too! We also discovered that Luna is VERY ticklish! #LaughingBears
