a lot of people talk about being motivated by spite, which I admit to being a thing in the very (very) short term for me sometimes haha. but overall nah. passion, excitement, love for it is what motivates me. spite is a flame that flares up periodically; the other stuff is what keeps you warm

that’s my only problem with the skyborne though. i’m personally not going to buy them and support p2p, but i don’t dislike them! i think they fit the lighthearted vibe WoWF seems to have, i just wish they had a low quality model to go with the other races, cause rn it’s a bit visually incoherent..

they tried to do a similar thing with Overwatch 2 where they put new heroes on the premium battle passes but eventually scrapped this system bc of criticism, so there’s a potential for them to backtrack this but i’m not sure. i think skyborne aren’t the last pay-to-play race in WoWF we’ll see

oh and the $30 blue elves….ermm….. i think there are some bad ramifications that could come of a successful launch of paywalled races that make blizzard lot of money.. although, i think we’ll see that sort of thing remain within WoW forever instead of retail

Talebound interests me about as much as Plunderstorm did, which means my enthusiasm goes as far as how many cosmetic rewards i can earn from it. i assume there will be many, and i like the Helsing-esque aesthetic, it’s hard to go wrong with that in my opinion

WoW Forever looks visually stunning and i’ll definitely check it out as a side venture but i hope some of these concepts of focusing on azeroth also make their way to retail. they’ve got some ground to cover before we’re gonna see any more major cities or regions revamped but this is hopeful

i think that’s finally gonna be what allows me to fully get into housing. i struggled so much with the back and forth, i think my ADHD just straight up caused me to lose interest the second i had to go on some big ass journey for more clutter items 😭😭
