I'm unhappy with Facebook. The AI slop, the techno fascism, the difficulty seeing friends posts through the miasma of bullshit and suggested crap. Bluesky has finally got some features that will help me replace some of the things I've used Facebook for, most especially things like photo albums.

The Aurora was lovely last night. I fell asleep before it got really spectacular, but still captured this from my front yard. You could see the light with your naked eye, but the color really came through only on camera. In the fall, you could see the color dancing. I hope to see that again.

I love living on the St. Lawrence river in the thousand islands. Took advantage by pretending to be a tourist tonight, took a lovely cruise through Canadian waters on a Clayton Island Tours boat while my talented friends Mary and Dan Flanigan performed.
