Liberal support for the crofting counties continued into early 20thC with the Dewar Report and creating the Highlands and Islands Medical service in 1913 - the only model quoted in NHS White Paper of 1944. NHS started here!

Dear Trish, Just sitting with my 94 year old father who sailed the Atlantic, as navigator, aged 25. We spent many days sailing together. We are now living with his frailty and the paper boat analogy is beautiful and relevant.

Great piece. We have a system of cohort Continuity at Dingwall -patients identified by clinicians as having higher needs. Been very positive and now being extended to frequent attendees in older age group to tackle frailty.

Peak rail fares scrapped on ScotRail trains. Scotland also has: Public ownership of water, lower water bills than England's. No university tuition fees for local students. No prescription charges, abolished in 2011. No two child benefit cap from March 2026. England must follow.
