I am so sad to hear that Micheal Friedman has passed away. It is hard to put into words how much impact he made on our field. His Dynamics of Reason inspired my PhD thesis, which he later examined, offering invaluable guidance. He led with so much kindness and generosity, great loss for our field.

1 woman is killed by a man every 3 days in the uk. 1 in 9 girls under the age of 18 will or have experienced sexual assault or abuse. Girls age 16-19 are 4 times more likely than the general population to be victims of rape/attempted rape. Violence against women and girls has risen 37% since 2018.
